Obama leads McCain 48 percent to 44 percent with likely U.S. voters down one point from yesterday.
In what can be an interesting poll to look at by one of the more accurate polling units Zogby, it shows the race very close compared to other polls that have Obama leading by more. Obama simply can not get over the 50% mark. It was common wisdom that the economic and stock market turmoil would help Obama but it isn’t helping Obama much in the polls. If the stock market settles down from wild turns it can redirect the race toward other issues that favor McCain.
